Aid Station Hooker

Liner Notes: This song originated from an experience while racing at Ironman Arizona. Tired, exhausted, and hallucinating, Scott pulled into one of the aid stations to find the volunteers dressed, well, somewhat like ladies of the night. The services provided (liquids, food, verbal support) encouraged Scott's strong affection for the aid station and it became the highly anticipated highlight of each of the three run loops.

racked the bike, off on the run
it's got to be at least 101
I've got to focus keep my head in the game
need to remember why I trained

mile four, dreaming of bed
sign approaching aid station ahead
something's different, something's not right
station's shadowed by a glowing red light

aid station hookers, there to please
aid station hookers, take care of your needs
aid station hookers, get the job done
I'm in love with a hooker
an aid station hooker

second Lap, can't take this heat
flashing visions of hell in the street
26 miles of nothing but dread
then I remember what lies ahead

last loop all I can think
need my hooker to buy me a drink
I'm in pain, when will this end
I need to hurry and see her again

aid station hookers, there to please
aid station hookers, take care of your needs
aid station hookers, get the job done
I'm in love with a hooker
an aid station hooker
