Ironband is returning to the hottest (and loudest) half marathon and 5K in the city on Saturday, April 12th. In addition to us there will be live music at the start/finish line as well as the halfway point of the half marathon (near Loose Park).
Ironband will once again be stationed at the 5K turnaround on Ward Parkway at 83rd. Street and everyone is welcome to join us (including all current and alumni members of the fabled Iron Maidens).
Bring the dogs, bring the baby joggers, bring the cowbells and – most importantly – bring mimosas for the band!
Wanna do more than cheer? While the half marathon is officially sold out there are still some spots left in the 5K so why not visit rocktheparkway.com and register? What’s the worst that could happen – you only make it halfway through the 5K and have to spend the rest of the morning playing tambourine for us?
